BACK PAIN

POSTURE - CORE - DE GASQUET METHOD

"Almost everyone has back pain, and the youngest are not spared !" Bernadette De Gasquet.

Our furniture is far from being adapted, the chairs are too high, the back is too inclined, the armchairs are too deep, the pillow is too stiff... all these positions in which we spend a lot of time slump us instead of straightening us and lead to imbalances.

Back problems very often come from bad posture and a lack of tone in the abdominal strap. Classic methods of abs and glutes workout sessions tend to compress us and may injure the spine by pinching the intervertebral discs.

These exercises, like crunches, prompt us to bring the shoulders closer to the pelvis and it's just awful. By limiting intra-abdominal pressure, this method effectively reinforces the abdominal muscles in depth and with complete integrity.

It's a preventive and strengthening work based on biomechanics and it is suitable to all ages and all levels : sedentary, beginners or confirmed sportsmen and women.

When the deep and postural muscles are not used enough for lak of movement, they become less reactive, less strong, less endurant, which caused muscles waisting and create disorder to the whole body.

When your body learns to move, to mobilised, to tone up and to position correctly on a regular basis, tension slowly disappears.  The body wakes up, returns to work and pain is fading out.

When your body relearns to move, to mobilize, to tone up, to position itself correctly and on a regular basis, the tensions gradually dissipate. The body wakes up, resumes function and the pain gradually recedes.

Training joint mobility and muscle flexibility will allow the body to be functional for practice but also for daily life reducing limitations and pain. Foam roll and ball massage  will unravel trigger points to the muscles fibers to recover.
